NSIC CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

NSIC celebrated International Women’s Day with great zeal and enthusiasm on 8th March, 2024 at NSIC Corporate Office. The theme of International Women’s Day 2024 is  Inspire Inclusion, which is to encourage more participation of women in every spheres of life. On the eve of Women’s Day, an interactive session with all women employees was organized and  underscoring the pivotal role of women entrepreneurs and women employees in driving innovation and economic growth. NSIC also honoured women entrepreneurs who have been long standing associates of the organization, recognizing the pivotal role NSIC played in their journey to success.  The program was chaired by Shri Vipul Goel, CMD, NSIC and was joined by Shri Gaurav Gulati, Director (Finance), NSIC. All NSIC senior officers were also present on the occasion.

NTSC (Okhla) organizes Employment Drive with Vibrant Job Fair

NSIC Technical Services Centre (Okhla), organized a Job Fair on 16th February, 2024, aimed at facilitating employment opportunities for its trainees through campus placement. The event witnessed active participation from 14 esteemed companies seeking talent in various fields including CAD/CAM, Mechanical Engineering, CNC Operation and Programming, Turner, Fitter, Welder, Quality Control, Hardware Networking, Software Developer, Digital Marketing, Graphics Designing, Video Editing, HVAC Technicians, Electrician, and Interior Architecture.Over 250 trainees participated in the Job Fair, with 160 trainees being selected/ shortlisted for placement after interviews conducted by the participating companies. The companies lauded the efforts of the NTSC (okhla) in providing a robust platform for recruiting candidates. Additionally, several companies expressed interest in collaborating with NSIC for curriculum development and providing industrial exposure through On-the-Job training for the trai

NSIC-Technical Services Centre (Hyderabad) organized a Job Mela on 09th February, 2024 at Hyderabad to facilitate the trainees of the Centre for their employment through campus placement. Shri N.K. Subramani, Centre Head interacting with HR Managers of participating companies such as ASSACO, Safran Aircraft Engines, SciTech Patent Art Services, Cenerg Global Tools, Numax Energy Solutions, Pavani Engineers, SVE Drilling Tools, Sujatha Forge etc. Out of 162 shortlisted candidates, offer letters have been issued for 29 candidates.

Delegation from the Government of Republic of Suriname visits to NSIC

A three-member delegation from the Government of Republic of Suriname visited NSIC’s Rapid Incubation Centre and Advanced Training Centre at NSIC’s Technical Service Center, Okhla, New Delhi on 08th February, 2024. Shri Sunil Tyagi, SGM (International Cooperation) welcomed the delegation and apprised them about various activities of NSIC as well as discussed the future areas of cooperation between NSIC and Suriname in field of MSME. Shri Subodh Jaiswal, NTSC  Head (Okhla), Shri Rajiv Nath, DGM (Tech), Shri Vimalesh Bhatia CM(Tech), Ms. Adiba Bari, Manager (IC), Shri Anupam Tiwari, Manager (IC), Ms. Vijayta Gautam, Deputy Manager, Shri Shashank Shekhar, Asst. Manager (IC) were also present during the visit.

Mozambique Delegation applauds NSIC Rapid Incubation Program

Shri Kartikeya Sinha, Director (Planning & Marketing), NSIC welcomed the Mozambique delegation led by Dr. Joaquina Gumeta, Director General, IPEME, Mozambique  to NSIC Rapid Incubation Centre and Advance Training Centre, New Delhi. The delegation was apprised about various activities of NSIC and the future areas of cooperation between NSIC and Mozambique in field of MSME Sector. During their visit, Dr. J. Gumeta, DG, IPEME, Mozambique applauded the Rapid Incubation Centre set-up by NSIC at Manica, Mozambique. She informed that the center is running successfully and providing skills & employment to the youth of Mozambique. She showed keen interest to further cooperate with NSIC in this area. NSICians celebrates 75th Republic Day across the country

Shri Kartikeya Sinha, Director (P&M), NSIC, and Shri Gaurav Gulati, Director (Finance) NSIC, hoisted the National flag on the occasion of 75th Republic Day at Corporate Office, Delhi. On this occasion, the NSIC employees celebrated with patriotic fervor, reciting poems and singing patriotic songs, embodying the essence of national pride and unity.

Shri Kartikeya Sinha, Director (P&M), NSIC, and Shri Gaurav Gulati, Director (Finance) NSIC, hoisted the National flag on the occasion of 75th Republic Day at Corporate Office, Delhi. Secretary MSME applauds NTSC (Rajkot) initiatives

Shri SCL Das, Secretary (MSME) during his visit to Gujarat, visited NTSC (Rajkot) on 12th January, 2024 and reviewed their performance. He appreciated the efforts of the NTSC (Rajkot) in working closely with the MSMEs of the region and gave valuable insights on the benefits of modernization of Labs, and opportunity for NTSC in entering into MoUs with premier Technical Institutions like IITs & NITs and Mapping of NTSC under PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan. Secretary (MSME), also visited newly established  Solar Water Pump Testing Laboratory. Shri U.K.Kohli, Centre Head, NTSC (Rajkot) was present on this occasion.

Shri Vipul Goel, CMD NSIC presented dividend cheque of Rs.33.14 crore for the year 2022-23 to Shri Narayan Tatu Rane, Hon’ble Minister of MSME, Govt. of India.  Also present on the occasion were Shri S.C.L. Das, Secretary (MSME), Shri Kartikeya Sinha, Director (P&M), Shri Gaurav Gulati, Director (Fin.) and Ms. Nishtha Goyal, Company Secretary, NSIC.

NSIC (Aligarh) organised Job Fair

Technical Service Center of National Small Industries Corporation, in collaboration with Narora Paranuclear Office, organized a job fair on 4 January 2024 in its premises. Chief Superintendent Shri S K Kavre inaugurated the employment fair organized at Narora Paranuclear Energy Centre. He inspired the participants to hard work with dedication and wished them success.

15 units participated in the Job fair. More than 400 trainees participated in this interview, out of which more than 300 participants from trades like CNC Lathe, CNC Wire Cut, Machinist, Fitter, Turner, Tele, AutoCAD, and Electrician etc. were selected for the next stage. Chief Shri Ram Kumar Yadav advised all the participants to work with dedication and discipline.

NTSC (okhla) signs MoU with SRCC

NSIC Technical Services Centre (Okhla), signed Memorandum of Association with Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) on 27th December 2023.  SRCC is one of the premier colleges of Delhi University for cooperation in skilling of Delhi University students for Skills training programmes in the latest in-demand skills that would benefit their careers as working professionals, corporate employees or entrepreneurs by up-grading their expertise. The candidates would be introduced to various technology and business skills. Training would be conducted in contemporary courses such as Use of ChatGPT and Aritificial Intelligence in Business, Marketing and commerce. Data Analysis and visualization using Excel, for decision making, etc. Prof. (Dr.) Simrit Kaur, Principal of SRCC expressed her enthusiasm on use of technological tools in entrepreneurship and opportunities for students. Sh. Subodh Jaiswal, SGM and Centre Head, NTSC (Okhla) appraised about Centre activities and advised that SRCC participants should take full advantage of the resources and opportunities. Prof. (Dr.)Aruna Jha, Vice Principal and Asst. Professors of SRCC were also present on the occasion courses would be conducted in NTSC Okhla as well as in SRCC campus based on mutual agreement. This association would go a long way in addressing the market oriented skills requirement of the youth and would provide them exposure to the latest technologies being used worldwide.
