Sh. Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC exchanged MoU with Managing Director of Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) for providing Lignite as Raw Material to micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in the State of Gujrat. Sh. Ravindra Nath informed that NSIC will facilitate Lignite in bulk at the price fixed by GMDC and eliminate the intermediaries/middlemen, thus passing the cost advantage to the MSEs whereby more than 1000 MSEs in the State shall benefit by getting Lignite atleast 10% cheaper price through NSIC. Textiles, Chemicals, Dyes and Processing enterprises in Gujrat are likely to get benefit through this tie-up. They will be able to get the much needed Lignite in a shorter time and much economical rate which will reduce the cost of production and make these units more competitive. Sh. P.
