NSIC Observes Vigilance Awareness Week, Reinforces Commitment to Integrity and Transparency
NSIC observed Vigilance Awareness Week from October 28 to November 3, 2024, as part of its commitment to fostering a culture of integrity. Under the guidance of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), NSIC also conducted a precursor observance from August 16 to November 15, 2024, to build momentum for the week’s theme, Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity. Throughout the week, NSIC’s corporate office and branches across India hosted a range of activities. Employees took integrity pledges, participated in workshops and lectures, and engaged in training sessions on key topics under the Capacity Building Programs. The week also featured essay writing, quiz, and drawing competitions to raise awareness about the importance of ethical practices in the workplace. NSIC marked the conclusion of Vigilance Awareness Week with a closing ceremony on November 7, 2024, chaired by Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Acharya, CMD at NSIC-Business Park, Okhla, New Delhi. Winners of the week’s competitions received awards, recognizing their active participation. During the ceremony, the CMD, along with Shri Gaurav Gulati, Director (Finance) and Shri D.K Agrawal, CVO, spoke on the significance of vigilance and integrity in fostering a transparent and accountable work culture.
