Honorary counsel for Czech Republic and Member Coir Board Shri C.S.Prakash Visited NSIC,Bangalore and interacted about the scope of Working together with Shri.P.Ravikumar,CGM ,ZoneSouth I.The Honorary counsel elaborated on the opportunities for MSMEs with Czech Republic,Czech business incubator has been started in Bangalore and exploring possibilities of Joint Venture ,Technology Transfer.

Director(P&M) NSIC meets Hon'ble Chief Minister (UP)

Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M),NSIC called on Shri Adityanath Yogi Honble Chief Minister of UP during his visit to Lucknow on 05/07/19 and briefed him about the activities of NSIC and  keenness of NSIC to work with Government of UP on Waste to energy and Defence Corridor models for benefiting MSMEs in the country .

Shri P. NSIC signs MoU with UP State Bio Energy Development Board

NSIC signed MOU with Sh. P.S. Ojha, Convener, UP State Bio Energy Development Board at Lucknow  on 05/07/19 to support Agri-Entrepreneurs in creating waste to wealth.Additional  Chief Secretary( Planning ) Sri Deepak Trivedi ji handed over the MOU to Director (P&M), NSIC Sri P. Udayakumar.  Other officer present were Vijay Prakash, ZGM(N-1) NSIC, finance controller of UPSBEDB, Govt of UP,   Dr Gomti Dwivedi Ji.

Parliamentary Delegation from Uganda Visits NSIC Livelihood Business Incubation centre

Shri Satvinder Singh,CGM( Tech) welcomed the  High level delegation led by Hon’ble Amos Lugoloobi alongwith Members of the Parliament of Uganda to, NSIC. The Delegation from Uganda also visited NSIC’s Technical Incubation Centre for creating self employment opportunities and Advanced Training Centre for upgrading the skills of Youth. The Members from the Parliament of Uganda expressed that NSIC’s model is the apt model for engaging youth in productive activities in Uganda.Also present on this occasion were Shri O.P.Singh,Centre Head,NTSC (Okhla),Shri Sunil Tyagi,GM( International Cooperation),Shri S.H.Siddiqui ,DGM(International Cooperation ) and Shri Avinash Panwar,Deputy Manager.

NSIC to encourage Bamboo Entrepreneurs in North East region

NSIC (North East), Guwahati has been appointed as Marketing Partner by Assam Bio Refinery Private Limited (ABRPL), where Numaligarh Refinery Ltd., a Public Sector Oil Company in Assam has 50% stake in new venture of Bio Ethanol Project. Under this project, ABRPL is planning to source bamboo from various states of North East like Assam, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya and set up chip processing units in strategic locations with an aim to create & develop new entrepreneurs of these region. Chipping units will be paid for chipping of raw bamboo supplied by the bamboo growers as per their area of operations, wherein NSIC plays an important role by facilitating the selected Local Level Entrepreneurs to set up the necessary infrastructure for success of the mission/project. With the implementation of the project, two leading companies will be able to create maximum MSME entrepreneurs and also generate new employment opportunities in the North East Region. Expected total engagement of direct, indirect, contractual and new entrepreneurs will be approximately 6350 by September 2021 and another 15000 more engagement by 2026.  Shri Ram Mohan Mishra,  AS&DC (MSME) & CMD,NSIC  received the Letter from ABRPL appointing NSIC as Marketing Partner of ABRPL – Bio Ethanol Project on 03rd July 2019 at Guwahati . Dr. Avinash Choudhary, Zonal General Manager, NSIC (NER)   is also seen in the picture. NSIC is facilitating and serving different types of raw materials to the MSMEs by entering into and tying up with Central and State level PSUs and Corporates for raw materials like – Aluminum, Iron & Steel, Bitumen, Emulsion, Cement, Copper, Paraffin Wax, Coal etc. to enable MSMEs to get continuous supply of raw materials at reasonable price. NSIC is also supporting & assisting the MSMEs in the states of North East Region through its various schemes under Credit Support, Marketing supports, Skill Development Training to the unemployed youths through Incubation Training Centre since last few decades.

Shri P.Udayakumar,Director(P&M) and Director(Fin) NSIC highlighting the role of NSIC in fostering the growth of Micro,Small and Medium Enterprises through package of Services to Shri Rohit Vyas ( Chattisgargh Cadre) and Shri Dileesh Sadi ,(Karnataka Cadre) ,the IAS probationers posted as Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of MSME,Government of India,New Delhi. During their visit to NSIC on 03rd July 2019 ,the delegation also visited the NSIC - Livelihood Business Incubation Center  and Advance Training Centre  at NTSC (Okhla)  to orient themselves on the efforts of NSIC in job creation through skilling & entrepreneurship training along with services provided for the growth of MSME sector.Also present on this ocassion were Shri Gaurang Dixit,CGM(Fin) & Shri Manoj Lal,GM(SG).
