Shri Ravindra Nath,CMD,NSIC addressing the Media at Bhubaneshwar (Orissa) informed that the National SC- ST State Conclave at Bhubaneshwar would be inaugurated by Shri Giriraj Singh, Honble Minister of MSME(Independent Charge), Shri Jual Oram, Hon'ble Minister of Tribal Affairs and Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Honble Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas,Skill Development and Entrepreneurship on30th August 2018 coinciding with the inauguration of NSIC -Integrated Marketing Development Centre. It is an opportunity for the youth,entrepreneurs, MSMEs to come forward and avail the benefits of the schemes of NSIC as also the offerings of Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Government of India),added Shri Ravindra Nath,CMD,NSIC.

NSIC-Technical Services Centre, Hyderabad has conducted EDP Programme from 30.07.2018 to 13.08.2018 which is sponsored by Telangana State Leather Industries Promotion Corporation Ltd (TSLIPC) for Economically poor & unemployed Educated youth of Telangana, this EDP Programme conducted for youth those who had undergone Training in Leather Industries & Invited various Industries experts from DIC, Digital marketing, ISO Expert, DICCI, Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank & Lead Bank Managers & these Industries experts delivered/ provided more valid inputs to become a buddy Entrepreneur/ first generation Entrepreneur. During the programme Industrial visit also arranged for the EDP Trainees & they have gained first hand industry set up, production environment & end to end industry practical exposure. The EDP trainees after completion of this EDP Programme they got a financial support assistance from Syndicate Bank & Canara Bank to start an Industry. Our Chief General Manager (Technology) & General Manager (NTSC, Hyderabad) interacted with the students and provided valid inputs & importance of the EDP Programme.

A delegation led by H.E. Salombek Khabibullaev, Deputy Governor, Andijan Region, Republic of Uzbekistan, called upon Sh. Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC to discuss possibilities of cooperation in MSME sector. Sh. Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC apprised them of NSIC’s experience of developing and promoting MSMEs in India and abroad. The delegation was also taken around NSIC’s Rapid Incubation Centre for Entrepreneurship development and Advanced Training Centre. H.E. Dy. Governor of Andijan Region, Republic of Uzbekistan found these centres to be very useful and expressed his desire to establish such centre in Uzbekistan with NSIC’s Cooperation.

Celebrating 72nd Independence Day of the country,Shri Navin Chopra,CGM(SG)NSIC hoisted the National Flag at Corporate office of the National Small Industries Corporation Ltd.On this occasion,NSIC office was also light up in Tricolor.

The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd observed Sadhbhavana Diwas on 20th August 2018.On this occasion all the officials of NSIC took pledge to work for harmony of all the people of India regardless of caste, region, religion or language. The pledge was administered by Shri Navin Chopra, Chief General Manager(SG),NSIC.

Inaugurating the Swatchtha Pakhwada ( 16- 31 August 2018) in The National Small Industries Corporation ltd ,Shri Ravindra Nath,CMD,NSIC led the administration of "Swatchhata Pledge" amongst the NSIC employees. Speaking on the occasion ,He exhorted the employees to participate enthusiastically "both at their work place and their respective neighbourhood and contribute whole heartedly to the National Mission of Creating 'Swatch Bharat.Also present on this occasion were Shri P.Udayakumar ,Director(P&M) and Shri A.K.Mittal ,Director (Finance).

The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd.-NSIC Technical Services Centre, Rajkot organised a Job Mela on 10-08-2018. More than 150 educated youth were interviewed by 17 MSMEs units off which 62 candidates were preliminary select who will later be called for the final round of interview by their respective unit.

The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd.-NSIC, Branch Office, Jaipur conducted a Marketing workshop in association with Vijaya Bank on 09.08.2018 at Jodhpur (Rajasthan). Participants were apprised about schemes of NSIC and Vijaya Bank tailored for MSMEs.

The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd.-NSIC, Branch Office, Chandigarh participated in Vendor Development Programme (VDP) organized by Satluj Jal Vidhyut Vitran Ltd. (SJVN)-Bhakri Plant, Rampur Bhushar(H.P.). About 80 participants were present. Shri Gopal Swaika, Branch Manager, NSIC appraised the participants about the various schemes of NSIC and their benefits.
