NTSC (Aligarh) organizes a Job Mela

NTSC (Aligarh) successfully organized a Job Mela on August 7, 2024, aimed at facilitating the placement of trainees recently graduated from the Centre in various trades. The event was graced by Shri Vishak G., I.A.S., District Magistrate of Aligarh, as the Chief Guest, who toured the Workshop, Material Testing Laboratory, and other facilities at the Centre. He commended the Narora Atomic Power Station (NAPS) for supporting NTSC Aligarh Skill Development Training Programme under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. Shri Ram Kumar Yadav, Deputy General Manager and Centre Head, encouraged the trainees to excel in their careers and expressed gratitude to NAPS for their collaboration. At the Job Mela, 18 organizations participated, extending job offers to 165 out of the 215 trainees who attended the interviews.

NSIC organized Vendor Development & Credit Support Event for MSMEs at Bangalore

The Zonal Office Bangalore of the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) successfully organized an event on Vendor Development & Credit Support to MSMEs on August 6th, 2024. The event was graced by key dignitaries including Mr. Mahesh M. Pai, General Manager of Canara Bank; Mr. M.G. Rajagopal, President of KASSIA; Mr. Girish, DGM of Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL); Mr. Anjan, Senior Manager at BEL; Mr. Srinivasan, DGM of Bharat Earth Movers Ltd. (BEML); and Mr. R. Saravana Kumar, NSIC ZGM Bangalore, who inaugurated the program and presented on NSIC schemes.

Shri Kalandi Charan Samal, Independent Director, NSIC visited Zonal Office and NTSC (Hyderabad).  Shri K. Srinivas, Zonal Head welcomed the Independent Director and apprised him about the various initiatives taken up in the Zonal Office (Hyderabad). During his visit to NTSC (Hyderabad), Shri N.K. Subramani, General Manager of NTSC, briefed him on the ongoing programs and activities. Shri Samal also took the opportunity to interact with officials from the Branch Office (Hyderabad), Branch Office: TSC, Branch Office: Balanagar, NSSHO, and EMDBP.

NSIC Hosts Awareness Campaign Commemorating Partition Horrors Remembrance Day

NSIC organized an Awareness Campaign as part of its Digital Exhibition on Partition Horrors Remembrance Day on 14th August 2024, at the NSIC Corporate Office in Okhla, New Delhi. The event, attended by NSIC officials, reflected on the significance of India Independence and honored the sacrifices made during the Partition. Additionally, an awareness campaign was also organised at Bank to further spread awareness about Partition Horrors Remembrance Day. In his address, the CMD, NSIC emphasized the importance of remembering the pain of Partition alongside the strength and determination that led to India freedom, highlighting the need to safeguard the nation hard-earned independence.

CMD, NSIC, lighting the lamp during Inauguration of 38th Annual State Level Convention -2024 of Odisha Assembly of Small & Medium Enterprises (OASME) at Bhubaneswar on August 12, 2024. The event was graced by Hon’ble Governor of Odisha Shri Raghubar Das as ‘Chief Guest’. The event was also graced by Shri Sampad Chandra Swain, Hon’ble Minister of State for Industries, Skill Development & Technical Education, Shri Gokulananda Mallik, Hon’ble Minister of State for MSME, Fisheries & Animal Resources, Government of Odisha, Shri Hemant Sharma, IAS, Principal Secretary, Industries & MSME Department, Government of Odisha.

In his address, CMD, NSIC highlighted the significance of providing key marketing support for MSMEs, and emphasized NSIC’s core activities, including the Digital MSMEMART B2B Platform. He also stressed the importance of increasing procurement from SC-ST and women entrepreneurs.

CMD, NSIC was invited as a distinguished speaker in the Directors’ Conclave on the occasion of 34th Annual Day of Institute of Directors, held on August 09, 2024, at New Delhi. In his keynote address, during the session Improving Board Effectiveness through strengthening the Role of IDs & Making Board Committees More Agile  CMD, NSIC highlighted the importance of governance, particularly in the areas of board structures, committees, and risk management, with focus on Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Through this collective commitment, NSIC continues to support the government Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan and its vision for a healthier, more responsible society.

An one day Composite Awareness Workshop was organised by MoMSME at Pune. The inaugural session was attended by Shri Ateesh Singh, JS, MSME, Shri T Koshy, MD & CEO of ONDC, Director General, MCCIA etc. Dr. S S Acharya, CMD delivered a special address in the session and spoke about enhancing competitiveness of MSMEs and improving market linkages. The one day workshop included presentations on various initiatives of Govt of India under RAMP.

In a significant stride towards fostering skill development and entrepreneurship, the Hon’ble Minister of MSME, Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi, and the Hon’ble Minister of State, Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, inaugurated the New Training Program at the NSIC Technical Service Centre (NTSC) in Okhla, New Delhi. The event witnessed the presence of Shri S.C.L. DAS, Secretary (MSME),  Smt. Mercy Epao, JS-SME, Ms. Simmi Chaudhary (EA&JS), Dr. S.S Acharya, CMD, NSIC, Shri Kartikeya Sinha, Director (P&M), NSIC, Shri Gaurav Gulati, Director (Finance), NSIC and Sh. Saravana Kumar, Director & CEO (NVCFL).
