Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Acharya, CMD, NSIC welcoming Hon’ble Minister of State Sushri Sobha Karandlaje on her assuming the charge of Minister of State of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India.

NSIC received renewal Certificate of ISO 9001:2015 after successful completion of prescribed re-certification process by M/s. TUV India Pvt. Ltd. (TUV Nord Group). The Certificate is issued in continuation and is valid till 22.05.2027 for NSIC 54 offices i.e. 45 Branch Offices, 8 NTSCs and the Corporate Office. Dr. S. S. Acharya, Chairman-cum-Managing Director received the certificate from Shri Ravi Singh, General Manager - North & East India Region, M/s. TUV India Pvt. Ltd. in presence of Sh. Kartikeya Sinha, Director (Planning and Marketing), Sh. Gaurav Gulati, Director (Finance) and other senior officers of NSIC.

NTSC (Neemka) organized a farewell program for passing out students who successfully completed their three-year AICTE-approved Engg. Diploma course. The event began with a lamp lighting ceremony by Shri Sanjay Sharif (DGM/Centre Head), NTSC followed by the national anthem and cultural programs.

NSIC participated in a Buyer Seller Meet organized by the Embassy of India in Dublin, Ireland, employing a hybrid format. The program commenced with introductory remarks delivered by His Excellency Mr. Akhilesh Mishra, the Ambassador of India to Ireland. The agenda of the program encompassed presentations by distinguished representatives from key entities including the Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India, NSIC, Invest India, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Ireland India Business Association (IIBA), and Ireland India Council (IIC). Mr. Sunil Tyagi, Senior General Manager, International Cooperation, NSIC, delivered a comprehensive presentation on various initiatives and schemes spearheaded by the Ministry of MSME and NSIC aimed at fostering the growth and development of Indian MSMEs. Mr. Tyagi also proposed strategic activities geared towards augmenting bilateral trade and cooperation between India and Ireland, in the MSME sector. Mr. Harish Kumar Wadhwa, Deputy Secretary (IC), Ministry of MSME, Ms. Neelam Sharma, Under Secretary (IC), Ministry of MSME and other NSIC officials were present during the meeting.

Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Acharya, Chairman- cum- Managing Director (CMD), NSIC visited NSIC - Advance Training Centre at NTSC (Okhla), New Delhi on 10th May, 2024. Shri Subodh Jaiswal, Centre Head, NTSC (Okhla) welcomed the CMD and apprised him about various activities of NTSC as well as discussed the future activities to be taken up in Technical Areas. During the visit, CMD appreciated the efforts of NSIC in creating opportunities of self-employment and skill development. Further, Shri Sanjay Yadav, Sr. Branch Manager, Branch Office (Delhi) has also apprised CMD about the commercial activities being conducted at Branch Office (Delhi). Shri Rajiv Nath, DGM (Tech), Shri Vimalesh Bhatia CM (Tech), Ms. Madhu Malti, CM(A/cs), Shri Pankaj Rawval, Dy. Manager (Electronics), Ms. Vijayta Gautam, Deputy Manager, Shri Raghunath, EA to CMD were also present during the visit.

NTSC (Aligarh) has renewed a MoU on 10th May, 2024 with Narora Atomic Power Station (NAPS), Narora, for their commitment to empowering youth through skill development. The MoU was signed by Shri Ram Kumar Yadav, Centre Head, NTSC (Aligarh) and Shri K.K. Sharma, Chairman, CSR Committee, NAPS Narora for 2024-25 with aim to train 540 youths from Narora and nearby areas in 11 diverse courses aligned with industry and community needs. Shri Vivek Mangal, Chief Manager (Training), NTSC (Aligarh), and other officers and staff from both organizations were also present on the occasion.

Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Acharya took over the charge of Chairman- cum- Managing Director (CMD), The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. on 02nd May, 2024. Prior to his present assignment, Dr. Acharya was the Chief General Manager, Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), New Delhi. Dr. Acharya is a Ph.D in Management, Post Graduate in Science (M.Sc.), a Post Graduate in Business Administration (MBA) and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (CAIIB). He has experience of over 3 decades in various facets of MSME Financing and Development including Credit, SME Rating, Risk Management, Bills Financing, New Product Development, Business Planning, Entrepreneurship Development, Innovation financing, Micro-Finance, Start-Up mentoring etc. Dr. Acharya was a British Chevening scholar and studied ‘Sustainable Development’ at University of Bradford, UK. He was a founding Member of India’s first SME Rating Agency and has served as CEO of India SME Technology Services Ltd (ISTSL), a company promoted by SIDBI and 4 other commercial Banks.

21 मार्च, 2024 को निगम मुख्‍यालय की राजभाषा कार्यान्‍वयन समिति की बैठक समिति अध्‍यक्ष निदेशक (वित्‍त) की अध्‍यक्षता में आयोजित की गई। जिसमें कार्यकारी निदेशक (निर्माण/टेक), वरिष्‍ठ महाप्रबंधक (एचआर), वरिष्‍ठ महाप्रबंधक (एनएसएसएच), वरिष्‍ठ महाप्रबंधक (डीएसएफ), महाप्रबंधक (टेक), महाप्रबंधक (वित्‍त), महाप्रबंधक (विधि एवं वसूली), महाप्रबंधक (आईटी), महाप्रबंधक (आईएसओ), महाप्रबंधक (बीडी), महाप्रबंधक (राजभाषा), मुख्‍य सतर्कता अधिकारी, कंपनी सचिव एवं उप महाप्रबंधक (सीसी/एसपीआरएस/ प्रदर्शनी), उपस्थित थे। बैठक में राजभाषा कार्यान्‍वयन हिन्‍दी की प्रगति की समीक्षा की गई और इसके प्रचार-प्रसार के लिए नए सुझाव दिए गए।

एनटीएससी (ओखला) नगर राजभाषा कार्यान्वयन समिति (नाराकास), दिल्ली (उपक्रम-२) के तत्वाधान में 11 मार्च 2024 को एक दिवसीय राजभाषा सम्मेलन का आयोजन सिल्वर ऑक, इंडिया हैबिटैट सेंटर, लोधी रोड, न्यू दिल्ली में किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में हिंदी को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से 150 से अधिक अधिकारियों को संबोधित किया गया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान हिंदी के प्रगामी प्रयोग से संबंधित विषयों पर चर्चा हुई, कार्यालयों में हिंदी प्रचार-प्रसार के उपाय पर गौर किया गया, हिंदी साहित्य का प्रचार एवं सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम का भी आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में मंच पर श्री सुबोध जैसवाल, वरिष्ट महाप्रबंधक, (एनएसआईसी), श्री राजेश त्रिपाठी, महाप्रबंधक, (एनएसआईसी), ब्रिगेडियर कुलदीप सिंह दलाल, कार्यपालक निर्देशक (उत्तर), ईसीआईएल, कॉममंडर पवन कुमार, क्षेत्रीय प्रबंधक, (सीडब्लूसी), श्री राजीव शर्मा, कार्यकारी निर्देशक,, हुडको; और श्री कुमार पल शर्मा, उप - निर्देशक कार्यान्वयन, उत्तरी क्षेत्र, राजभाषा विभाग शामिल थे।
