NSIC Livelihood Business Incubator (LBI) (Kashipur), participated in Dusshera Fair on 24th Oct, 2023 to promote the NSIC schemes as also encourage the youth to avail the benefits of various offerings of the NSIC Livelihood Business Incubator (LBI) (Kashipur) . The fair was organized by M/s. India Glycol Ltd (IGL), which is Asia Largest Chemical Industry and inaugurated by Dr. R.K Sharma , General Manager (Technology), IGL ,Sh. Vikrant Choudhary, Administrator, IGL along with Sh. Punit Kumar, Center Head, NSIC-LBI Kashipur. In this program , the EDP pass-out women candidates who are now self-employed also participated by setting up mehndi design counter.

During his visit to Hyderabad on 27/10/23, Sh. Subash Chandra Lal Das, IAS, Secretary( MSME) reviewed the performance of NSIC (Zone South - II) including all other MSME departments such as MSME DFO, KVIC, NIMSME and MSME Tool room. Also present on this occasion were Ms. Mercy Epao, Joint Secretary (SME) & Ms. Ishita Ganguly, ADC (MSME) , Shri K. Sriniwas, Zonal Head, NSIC.

NSIC Technical Services Centre (Okhla),New Delhi organized its Third Job Fair of the year 2023-24 in its campus on 18th October, 2023 to facilitate the trainees of the Centre for their employment through campus placement. The job fair was inaugurated by Sh. Kartikeya Sinha – Director (Planning and Marketing). Thirty Four companies participated in this Job Fair and recruited candidates from various fields. Companies such as Munjal Showa, JBM, Allied Engineering, Zebronics, Millenium Automation from varied fields in Engineering & Technology participated as recruiters, while more than 800 trainees attended the interviews. 237 trainees were selected/shortlisted for placement after screening through the first round of interviews by the companies. NSIC (Gurgaon) office participated in Gurugram industrial EXPO 2023 (25th – 29th October, 2023) which was inaugurated by Shri Kishan Pal Gujjar, Honble Cabinet Minister, Govt of India. On this ocassion, Shri Parveen Gandhi Senior Branch Manager, NSIC alongwith other officials actively interacted with Exhibitors as also MSMEs disseminating the benefits of NSIC scheme.

NSIC organized a one-day seminar in hybrid mode connecting all NSIC employees on 19th October, 2023 on Preventive Vigilance, with special emphasis on the theme of Public Interest Disclosures and Protection of Informers (PIDPI) i.e Say No to Corruption, Commit to the Nation at NSIC Corporate Office. The seminar was inaugurated by Shri Vipul Goel, JS(ARI) & CMD, NSIC in the presence of Shri Kartikeya Sinha, Director (P&M) and Shri Gaurav Gulati, Director (Finance). Speaking to the participants, CMD, NSIC stated that NSIC employees are required to inculcate a fundamental mindset shift, prioritizing a corruption-free work environment as also in-depth understanding of rules and procedures for error prevention. Other speakers of the seminar included Sh. Surjit Singh, Former Director, CVC & Sh. Krishan Mohan, IAS (Retd.) (A certified national trainer selected by the Department of Personnel and Training). Speaking on the occasion, Shri D.K Aggarwal, CVO, NSIC stated that NSIC is deeply committed to promoting ethical practices and fostering a culture of integrity, and this seminar is a significant step in this direction.

NTSC (Aligarh) signs MoU with Dharma Samaj College (UP) on 10th Oct 2023 with the objective of imparting Training to the students of Dharma Samaj College (Aligarh) facilitating them to upgrade their skills . The Various Skill development programmes offered at NTSC (Aligarh) are well accepted by the local industry to provide the trainees with either internship or placement opportunities. The MoU was signed by Shri Ram Kumar Yadav , Centre Head ,NTSC (Aligarh) & Prof. M.K.Bhardwaj, Principal, Dharma Samaj College (Aligarh) in the presence of Shri D.K.Gautam, DM, NTSC (Aligarh) & Prof Harish Sharma , Dharma Samaj College (Aligarh).

NSIC -Technical Service Centre (NTSC Neemka) offers diploma level training programmes ( approved by AICTE and the Centre is affiliated by the name of Raja Jait Singh Government Polytechnic (RJGP) .Recently M/s JCB India Limited recently conducted a placement drive at NTSC-Neemka to find right candidates in Mechanical and Electrical branches for deployment to their manufacturing plant at Ballabhgarh , Faridabad . Around 40 trainees of Mechanical and Electrical branch of NTSC-Neemka Batch 2018/2019/2020 appeared in the selection process and 22 trainees have been offered placement . The selection process was facilitated by Sh Umesh Dixit, Centre Head , NTSC (Neemka) alongwith Sh. Manoj Kumar Meena , Dy Manager.
