National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Year 2016-17 with Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, on 27.7.2016. The MOU was signed by Shri K. K. Jalan, Secretary, Ministry of MSME, Government of India and Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC. Also present during the MOU signing ceremony were Shri Manoj Joshi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of MSME and Shri P.Udayakumar, Director (Planning & Marketing), NSIC. The NSIC Orientation Program was inaugurated by Shri P.Udayakumar, Director (P&M), NSIC on 27-06-2016. New entrants to NSIC at the level of Assistant Manager to Chief Manager posted at various NSIC offices all over the country are attending this program. A Training program on Disaster Management was inaugurated by Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC on 03.06.2016 in the presence of Shri P.Udayakumar, Director (P&M). The purpose to organize the Disaster Management program is to motivate awareness in particular preparedness, amongst all the participants in dealing with the Human aspect of Emergency like Fire, Earth quake, Medical Emergency, etc. The program involved live demonstration and highlighted the expected response required to lessen the impact of disaster. The program was conducted by Fire Service Centre officials (Government of India) .100 employees from various NSIC Zonal /Branch offices participated.
