B2B Interaction between Egyptian Business delegation and Indian Enterprises

A high-level business delegation from Egypt, led by Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Hon’ble Governor of the Province of Assiut, Mr. Amr Ibrahim Abo El Oyoun Abdel Nasser, Member of Senate and H.E. Mr. Kamel Galal, Ambassador of Egypt to India, visited NSIC on Monday, December 8, 2025. 
NSIC, in association with the Embassy of Egypt in New Delhi, organized a Business-to-Business (B2B) interaction to promote trade and industrial partnerships between Indian enterprises and the visiting Egyptian delegation. The event witnessed participation from around 22 Indian enterprises and representatives from industry associations across diverse sectors such as automotive components, machinery and equipment, textiles, handicrafts, food and beverages, among others.
The B2B session provided a productive platform for Indian companies to explore business opportunities, exchange sector-specific insights and identify potential collaborations with their Egyptian counterparts.

NSIC, CMD inaugurates High-Tech Tool Room at NTSC Chennai

In order to meet the increased demand of skilled manpower for MSME sector, a State-of-the-Art Tool Room in the NSIC Technical Services Centre (NTSC), Chennai has been launched. The Tool Room was inaugurated by CMD, NSIC in the august presence of Shri Kartikeya Sinha, Director (P&M), NSIC and Mr. C.K. Mohan, President, TANSTIA and representatives of Industry besides senior officers from NSIC. The Tool Room envisages to support MSMEs in advanced manufacturing, Precision Engineering and skill development for MSMEs with advanced CNC, HMC, CMM, Laser Welding, CAD / CAM, 3D Printing and AI / ML solutions etc.

NSIC successfully conducted a full-day Training Program under the Rashtriya Karmayogi – Large Scale Jan Seva Program (RK-LSJSP) on 06 December 2025 at the Advanced Training Centre, Okhla, New Delhi, with active participation from Deputy Managers.
The session commenced with an address by Shri Manoj Kumar Singh, SGM, NSIC, who motivated the participants to internalize Seva Bhaav and move beyond a purely rule-driven approach toward one that is purpose-led, citizen-focused, and oriented toward measurable outcomes.
The program was facilitated by NSIC’s certified Master Trainers, who conducted interactive modules featuring hands-on activities, case-based discussions, and reflective tasks designed to enhance decision-making, problem-solving, and overall service effectiveness.
Through this initiative, NSIC continues to strengthen its dedication to developing a proactive, service-oriented, and high-performing workforce aligned with the objectives of Mission Karmayogi.

Parliamentary Delegation from Burkina Faso Visits NSIC to Explore MSME Cooperation

A sixteen member Parliamentary Delegation from Burkina Faso, led by Mr. Bougouma  Ousmane Sem, Hon’ble President of the Transitional Legislative Assembly, visited NSIC on November 26, 2025 as part of their official visit to India.
Sh. Kartikeya Sinha, Director (Planning & Marketing), NSIC welcomed the delegation and apprised the delegates on NSIC’s Rapid Incubation Programme, training facilities and the skill development infrastructure designed to support aspiring entrepreneurs and small enterprises . 
During the visit  the two sides were engaged in a constructive dialogue  served to foster stronger bilateral relations and explore opportunities for future collaboration in areas of entrepreneurship development, capacity building, technology support, and training models. Sh O.P. Singh, SGM (Technology), along with senior officials from NSIC also participated in the discussions.

NSIC successfully conducted a full day Training Program under the Rashtriya Karmayogi – Large Scale Jan Seva Program (RK-LSJSP) on 22 November 2025 at the Advanced Training Centre, Okhla, New Delhi, with the participation of Chief Managers and Managers.

The program was inaugurated by Sh. Manoj Lal, Executive Director, NSIC , who motivated participants to uphold the spirit of “Seva Bhaav” in their daily work—transitioning from a rule-bound approach to one driven by purpose, problem-solving, and measurable public impact.

The session was facilitated by NSIC’s certified Master Trainers , who led the participants through practical learning and reflective exercises aimed at strengthening citizen-centric service delivery.

This initiative is part of NSIC’s continued commitment to fostering a responsive, empowered, and impact-driven workforce under the Mission Karmayogi framework.

Union Minister for MSME, Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi, inaugurated the MSME, KVIC, COIR and NSSH Pavilions at the 44th IITF at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi, inaugurated the MSME, KVIC and COIR Pavilions in Hall No. 6 and NSSH Pavilion in Hall No. 5 at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, today. 

National SC-ST Hub (NSSH) Pavilion at Hall No. 5 is showcasing products of SC-ST entrepreneurs through 35 stalls at IITF-2025 from 14-11-2025 to 27-11-2025. The  pavilion has exhibitors from 10 States namely, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Delhi, Assam, Karnataka, Punjab, Jharkhand, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh and Nagaland. Footwear, Sports Goods, Handicrafts, Bamboo products, Food products, machine components and Leather Goods are displayed for sale in the Pavilion.

India–Taiwan SMEs Webinar 2025 on Smart Manufacturing & AI Applications held on 14.11.2025

NSIC in cooperation with its partner organization ITRI, Taiwan, organized the India–Taiwan SMEs Webinar on November 14, 2025. The webinar, themed “India–Taiwan Collaboration on Smart Manufacturing and AI Applications,” witnessed participation from over 100 enterprises from both sides.
The session began with the Opening Remarks by Dr. GJ Lee, Director General, SMESA, Ministry of Economic Affairs (Taiwan) and Ms. Mercy Epao, Joint Secretary (SME), Ministry of MSME, India and concluded with Closing Remarks by Dr. S.S. Acharya, CMD, NSIC.
The webinar featured insightful presentations from experts and industry leaders- Dr. Harrison Hsiung, Deputy Division Director- ITRI, Taiwan, Mr. Anup Wadhwa, Director-Automation Industry Association of India, Mr. Derek Lo, General Manager-Expetech Co., Ltd. and Mr. Kalyan Ram, Founder & CEO-Indxo AI enabling direct engagement between both sides.

The Self-Reliant India (SRI) Fund, the sovereign Fund of Funds for MSME growth alongwith Government of J&K, organised an outreach event at Srinagar on 1st November’2025. The event was aimed at connecting startups and MSME entrepreneurs of J& K with venture capital firms and institutional investors. The event was graced by Lieutenant Governor Sh. Manoj Sinha, Jammu and Kashmir, as the Chief Guest.  The others dignitaries present include, Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Acharya, Chairman (NVCFL) & CMD, NSIC Ltd, Ms. Mercy Epao, Joint Secretary, Ministry of MSME and Sh. Vikramjit Singh, Commissioner/Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department.

A MSME Marketing Conclave was organized by NSIC on 30-Oct-2025 at Guwahati, Assam

A MSME Marketing Conclave was organized by NSIC, under the Trade Enablement & Marketing (TEAM) initiative of MoMSME under the RAMP program on 30-Oct-2025 at ASFEDC Auditorium, Guwahati, Assam. The Conclave was graced by Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, Hon’ble Minister of State, MoMSME, as the Chief Guest. The other dignitaries present included Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Acharya, CMD NSIC, Sh. Kartikeya Sinha, Director (P&M),NSIC ; Sh. Mara Kocho (IES), MD of NEHHDC; Sh.PVSLN Murty, Chairman, NEDFi and Sh. Shishir Jha, Addl. EPFO Commissioner. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. S.S. Acharya stated that the conclave focusses on the TEAM initiative, which aims to digitally onboard 5 lakh micro and small enterprises particularly women entrepreneurs over the next two years for digital transformation. The program also witnessed the Exchange of MoUs between NSIC and Kotak Mahindra Bank as well as with Shri K.C. During her visit she appreciated the skilling and entrepreneurship initiatives of NSIC and expressed her happiness about the overwhelmingly large section of trainees being Women. She distributed Certificates to the successful trainees and encouraged them to utilise the opportunity of various schemes of Govt after completion of training courses. She lauded NSIC training centre for its continued endeavours towards micro-enterprise creation.
